Everything set for big action tomorrow with nearly 70 riders registered for the El Gouna Featured

Registration day saw the arrival of many new riders as well as other more familiar faces. In total 65 riders from 26 different countries have now entered the IKA Kiteboarding Word Championship event here in El Gouna Egypt, situated on the Red Sea. The forecast for tomorrow looks prime for a full day of action. Riders will be at the beach early for a 7:00am first possible start with the qualification rounds for Freestyle and (conditions pending) later the main event. We wish all the riders the best of luck!

Mondial Du Vent confirmed as second round of the 2016 IKA Kiteboarding World Championships Featured

The "Mondial Du Vent", one of the longest running kiteboarding events, has been confirmed to host the second round of the 2016 IKA Kiteboarding World Championships.

Located on the beach of La Franqui, Leucate is well known for its strong offshore winds, making it the perfect location for Freestyle and Big Air.

Registration is open with immediate effect, and due to the short timeline registrations must be made until 5th of April latest, before late fees apply.

Registration opens for the first round of the 2016 IKA Kiteboarding World Championships Featured

The 2016 IKA Kiteboarding World Championships are underway !

Registration is now open for the first round which will be held in famous El Gouna, Egypt, and offers 50000 Euro overall prizemoney for freestyle and big air, and 1000 points for the winner in each discipline.

Seven rounds are expected to take place to determine the 2016 World Champions in Freestyle, Big Air, Wave and Slalom.
